Tinley Park Mom 'Does So Much For Our Family,' Says Daughter

TINLEY PARK, IL— Moms do so much for everyone around them. We try to celebrate them all year long, but Mother's Day is a perfect opportunity to shout it from the rooftops and post it on Patch: Mom rocks!

Here at Patch we've launched an initiative to help recognize the awesome moms and mom figures in communities like yours.

What makes your Mom extra special?

My mom is special because she works 4 hours a day and still has to take care of me and my brothers. She also has to worry about bills and making sure me and my family get fed. Even when she is not feeling good or has had a bad day, she still stays strong.

Why do you feel your Mom deserves the spotlight?

My fabulous mother deserves this spotlight because she does so much for our family. I swear I can’t name one time where she has let our family down. Even if she is sick, she still finds a way to work around things. Even if I have an after school program, she still makes sure I get to go even if it makes her late for work.
