Tinley Police Set Record With $14,000 Raised In 'Cop On A Rooftop'
The May 17 fundraiser at Tinley Park Dunkin locations and stores across Illinois was in support of Special Olympics Illinois.
TINLEY PARK, IL — Tinley Park police saw their most successful Cop on a Rooftop yet, with more than $14,000 raised for Special Olympics Illinois.
Tinley Park police on May 17 staked out the rooftops of three local Dunkin locations in an effort to drum up interest and support for the cause. The official total raised tallied $14,717.
In 2023, the Tinley Park department was the top fundraiser across the state.

Dunkin' and Illinois Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Illinois have partnered for 21 years for this cause. More than $8.7 million has been raised in Illinois, according to the Special Olympics website.
