Tinley Park Seeks New Vendors For 25th Anniversary Farmers Market

According to market organizers, the summer event is looking to focus on food and plant vendors for the popular suburban destination.

TINLEY PARK, IL — Village officials are looking for vendors to participate in the southwest suburb's longest running famers market this summer.

The Tinley Park Farmers Market will start its 25th year in early June and continue through mid-October with food, craft and drink sellers positioned along Zabrocki Plaza off the Oak Park Avenue Metra station.

This summer, however, organizers told Patch they are focusing on food and plant products like homemade goods and bouquets. The 2022 farmers market will take place every Saturday from June 4 - Oct. 15 at 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

"The Tinley Park Farmers Market is the perfect place to get your product directly into customers’ hands, all in a popular, easily accessible location in Downtown Tinley that’s already a summer destination," organizers said in a news release.

According to last years farmers market organizers, the event regularly attracts one thousand residents from across the region. Officials estimate this year will bring more customers due to the village's plan to promote the farmers market with television and social media advertisements.
