Tinley Park Woman 'Never Tires' Of Giving Back With Service Dogs

TINLEY PARK, IL — Without community leaders, Tinley Park wouldn’t hum along nearly as smoothly as it does. We’d miss their contributions in big and small ways.

What does this community leader do?

Kim runs a non-profit Therapy Dog/Facility Dog training organization whose mission is "to enrich the lives of others by providing hope and healing through the compassion of canine companions"

Why do you believe the community leader should be recognized or honored?

Kim Laidlaw is an energetic and passionate individual who, besides running her own non-profit organization, also volunteers with other non-profits, has a full-time job, cares for her elderly father, enjoys her kids and grandkids and never tires of giving back to her community, while enjoying each and every pup in her organization.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the community hero?

Kim is very committed to giving back to her community through her passionate commitment to training these working dogs for future service in 911 centers, courthouses, schools, nursing homes and senior residences.
