Festivities will kick off with live music by Five Guys Named Moe at 4 p.m., followed by food and beverages for sale from local vendors, inflatables for kids, bingo, a magic show by the Great Boodini, a gun salute and flag-raising ceremony and a concert by Spoken Four at 7 p.m. The celebration will end with a fireworks show set to patriotic music at 9:30 p.m. Visitors will also be able to enjoy mini golf and batting cages all day.

Prior to 2023's celebration, the fireworks had been held at the park for 40 years. Citing safety concerns and security challenges at the location, Village officials last year scheduled its own show at a different location, which led to the cancellation of the park district's display. Tinley Park's fireworks last year were held during Ribfest.

Tinley Park Police Chief Tom Tilton said his officers are preparing for the event to ensure everyone has a great time.

“We’re utilizing new technologies and new techniques to provide a safe Fourth of July experience for everyone,” Tinley Park Police Chief Tom Tilton said. “Residents can rest easy knowing we’re taking every precaution.”
