Tinley's Trustee Meeting: What's On Tap For Tonight
Tinley's board of trustees meet tonight. What's on tap: honoring outgoing trustees, an assistant for the mayor and the $155 million budget.

TINLEY PARK, IL — As the board of trustees prepares for a change in power in coming weeks, they take on weighty issues at the regularly scheduled board meeting Tuesday night, including Tinley's budget, staff merit awards, creating a foreclosed-property tracking system and new liquor licenses for Hollywood Casino.
Trustees John Curran and Michael Pannitto are stepping down after losing the election earlier this month, and Brian Younker announced at the beginning of the year that he would not run for office. All three are members of Concerned Citizens for Tinley Park, headed by Mayor Jacob Vandenberg. Three new members, Diane Galante, William Brennan and Michael Mueller are preparing to take office in coming weeks. They ran on the One Tinley Park ticket, co-founded by trustee Michael Glotz.
In the meantime, the board will conduct business as usual. Here's a look at some of what is on the agenda tonight:
