Vandal Threw Toys Into Broken-Down, Dirty Pool: Police

Someone hurled toys into a broken-down, dirty, above-ground pool, damaging a fence surrounding it, police said.

A 29-year-old resident of Sandy Lane reportedly told police the vandal — or vandals — “threw children’s metal and plastic toys in their above ground pool, damaging one of the sections of plastic fence that surrounds the pool.”

The man “wished a report (would be made) for the insurance company in case he files a claim,” police said.

According to a report, the thrown toys caused no additional damage to the pool, which was “in a state of disrepair and has green water.”
