The village has extended its Brick Paver Program application deadline for General Patrick E. Rea Veterans Plaza.
TINLEY PARK, IL — The deadline to order a brick paver for the General Patrick E. Rea Veterans Plaza has been extended to Friday, Aug. 7. All bricks ordered by that date will be placed in time for Veterans Day on Monday, Nov. 11, according to the Village of Tinley Park website.

The plaza is located in the south parking lot of the Tinley Park 80th Ave. train station. Loved ones can purchase bricks featuring personalized messages to recognize a soldier's service, and the bricks will be placed in the walkway and plaza permanently.
