Village Of Tinley Park To Hold Memorial Day Ceremony

TINLEY PARK, IL — Tinley Park residents are invited to join the Village of Tinley Park for its annual Memorial Day Ceremony.

Set for Monday, May 27 at 10 a.m., the ceremony will be held at the Gen. Patrick E. Rea Veterans Plaza, which sits adjacent to the 80th Avenue Metra station at 18001 S. 80th Ave.

The morning will include patriotic music by the Tinley Park Community Band, short speeches, a wreath-laying ceremony and a gun salute. The event, hosted by the Tinley Park Veterans Commission, will be livestreamed on the Village's Facebook page for those who are unable to attend in person.
