2016 Law Enforcement Exhibition at Hawthorn Mall

Experience an open house where law enforcement agencies are present to show you the ins and outs of what the police do at the Annual Law Enforcement Exhibition on Sept. 10-11 at Hawthorn Mall.

A number of K9 demonstrations and taser demonstrations will be conducted inside the mall on the lower level near Carson's. Since 2005, the exhibition has drawn thousands of interested local citizens and attendees from the Chicagoland area. The event will always be scheduled for the weekend closest to September 11th, in order to honor our fallen heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice on that day in 2001.

Currently, K9 demonstrations are scheduled to be conducted on the following days/times:

• Saturday: 9/10/16 at 1:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m., and 7:00 p.m. Lake County Sheriff's Office
• Sunday: 9/11/16 at 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. Mundelein Police Department

The Vernon Hills Police Department will be conducting a taser demonstration on each day:

• Saturday: 9/10/16 at 4:30 pm
• Sunday: 9/11/16 at 2:30 pm
