How Much Did Area CEOs Earn in 2012?
A recent report ranks the executive incomes of Illinois' 100 biggest companies, including those located in nearby Lincolnshire, Deerfield and Lake Forest.

The Chicago Tribune ranked the salaries of the chief executives at the 100 largest, Illinois-based companies.
Among the companies represented in the report are Molex in Lincolnshire, W.W. Grainger in Lake Forest and Mondelez, Walgreens and Baxter, based in Deerfield.
Molex CEO Martin P. Slark comes in at No. 32 on the list having earned about $7.2 million, based on cash income and stock value, according to the report.
W.W. Grainger CEO James T. Ryan is No. 26 on the list having earned about $8.4 million.
Mondelez CEO Irene B. Rosenfeld, tops the list at No. 1 having earned about $28.8 millionÂ
Baxter CEO Robert L. Parkinson Jr. lands at No. 6 having earned about $17.5 million.
Walgreens CEO Gregory D. Wasson comes in at No. 12 having earned about $12 million.
Nearby, Abbott Labs CEO Miles D. White takes the No. 3 spot having earned about $25.1 million.
