Job Networking Group Offers Support

Looking for work? A new networking group started by two Vernon Hills friends offers support and good advice.

Searching for a job is a job in itself, Vernon Hills resident Art Noparstak told Pioneer Press.

Noparstak, who was unemployed for nine months in 2011 and landed two job offers after a diligent job search effort, has created a job networking group with friend Sue Masaracchia-Roberts to help other job seekers, according to Pioneer Press.

Meet-ups are held monthly at Congregation Or Shalom in Vernon Hills and are open to all members of the community. The meetings offer valuable networking opportunities and features speakers on topics such as using social media to market yourself.
