Police Blotter: Candy, Jewelry, Clothing Thefts

DRUGS
Ryan B. Wasserberg, 18, of 458 Chesterfield Lane, Vernon Hills, was charged with possession of cannabis March 24 on the 1100 block of East Port Clinton Road while police investigated a suspicious vehicle. His court date is April 11 in Mundelein.
THEFT

Julie J. Waryck, 21, of 26267 N. Highland Drive, Mundelein, was charged with retail theft March 21 at 7-Eleven after she left the store without paying for $7.50 in candy. She was also arrested on a Lake County warrant for possession of a controlled substance. Her court date is April 15 in Waukegan.
Martin Perez, 48, of 207 W. Church St., Wauconda, was charged with retail theft March 23 at Kohl’s after he left the store without paying for $157.40 in jewelry and accessories. His court date is May 9 in Mundelein.

Dragomic Jevdic, 22, of 635 Chip Ct., Gurnee, was charged with retail theft March 23 at Sears in Hawthorn after he left the store without paying for $225.99 in clothing. His court date is Apri 11 in Mundelein.
