ALCOHOL
Joshua D. Schaffner, 30, of 4245 N. Bloomington Ave., Arlington Heights, was charged with driving under the influence, driving with a blood-alcohol content above the legal limit, driving on a suspended license and improper lane usage on March 22 on Milwaukee Avenue south of Knightsbridge. His court date is April 17 in Waukegan.
Amanda L. Frazier, 22, of 3209 Springdale Ave., Glenview, was charged with driving under the influence, driving with a blood-alcohol content above the legal limit, driving without insurance, following too closely and failure to signal on March 26 at Route 45 and Evergreen Drive. Her court date is April 17 in Waukegan.

A 17-year-old boy was charged with driving under the influence, driving without a valid license, resisting arrest and underage consumption of alcohol on March 29 at Butterfield Road and Canterbury Lane. His court date is April 17 in Waukegan.
Anthony R. Ardito, 23, of 30360 N. Center Ave., Libertyville, was charged with driving under the influence, improper turning and failure to signal on March 31 at Indianwood and Greenleaf drives after police observed him driving onto the curb. His court date is April 17 in Waukegan.

DRUGS
Amanda R. Paul, 22, of 417 Albany Lane, Vernon Hills, was charged on March 30 with possession of drug paraphernalia at Century Park, where police said she was in possession of a pipe used for smoking cannabis. Her court date is May 9 in Mundelein.
Juan M. Hernandez, 33, of 8250 Dempster, Niles, was charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, two counts of possession of a controlled substance, aggravated driving under the influence while his license was revoked, aggravated driving under the influence while his driver’s license was revoked for driving under the influence, driving under the influence, driving without insurance and improper lane usage on March 31 on Route 45 and Butterfield Road. Police said they stopped Hernandez after his car crossed a double yellow line and they found him in possession of cocaine. His court date is unavailable.
RECKLESS DRIVING
John W. Hornbostel, 25, of 515 Milwaukee Ave., Wheeling, was charged with reckless driving, driving without insurance and speeding, and Ryan P. Paschen, 20, of 307 W. Hawthorn Drive, Round Lake, was charged with reckless driving and speeding on March 31 after police observed them drag racing on Milwaukee Avenue and Route 45. Both were given May 9 court dates in Mundelein.Â
THEFT
Araceli Balderas, 33, of 18908 W. Oak, Mundelein, was charged with retail theft on March 21 after she left Kohl’s without paying for $952.99 in merchandise. Her court date was unavailable.Â
A 16-year-old boy was charged with retail theft on March 25 at Sears after he left the store without paying for a $34.99 watch. His court date is April 11 in Mundelein.
Jonathan P. Haught, 29, of 711 S. Milwaukee Ave., Libertyville, was charged with retail theft on March 26 at Spencer Gifts in Hawthorn after he left without paying for $30 in jewelry. His court date is May 9 in Mundelein.
Eneida Hernandez-Ortiz, 38, of 955 Westmoreland Drive, Vernon Hills, was charged with retail theft on March 28 at Sears after she left without paying for $97.32 in merchandise. Her court date is April 11 in Mundelein.
