Police Blotter: Illegal Fireworks, Retail Theft Charges

FIREWORKS
Daniel S. Hughes, 22, of 90 Mark Drive, Hawthorn Woods, was charged with setting off fireworks May 29 on the 1-100 block of Echo Court, where police said he was seen setting off bottle rockets. His court date is July 11 in Mundelein. Β
THEFT
Sade A. Jackson, 22, of 3004 Salem St., Zion, was charged with retail theft May 16 at Akira in Hawthorn mall after leaving the store without paying for $55.80 in jewelry and shoes. Her court date was June 3 in Waukegan. Β
Ma Gloria Gonzalez-Ramirez, 42, of 805 Westmoreland Drive, Vernon Hills, was charged with retail theft May 30 at JC Penney after leaving the store without paying for about $700 in merchandise. Her court date was unavailable. Β
Alissa S. Hoffer, 20, of 1915 Maple Place, Riverwoods, was charged with retail theft June 1 at Kohlβs after leaving the store without paying for $140 in jewelry. Her court date is July 11 in Mundelein. Β
WARRANT
Roshanda T. Davenport, 22, of 4118 22nd Ave., Kenosha, Wis., was arrested on a Lake County warrant for retail theft while Vernon Hills police investigated a suspicious incident May 29 at Walmart. Her court date is June 10 in Waukegan. Β
Tomas Antunez, 41, of 227 Winfield Court, Vernon Hills, was arrested on a Lake County warrant for aggravated battery May 31 on the 200 block of Winfield Court. His court date is June 21 in Waukegan. Β Β Β
