Police Blotter: Man Charged With 9 Offenses After Accident

ALCOHOL/DRUGS
Nicole M. Baron, 22, of 103 Tennis Lane, Vernon Hills, was charged with driving under the influence, possession of drug paraphernalia, no insurance, improper lane usage and driving without lights when required June 26 at Route 45 and Corporate Woods Parkway. Her court date is July 24 in Waukegan.Β
Kenneth B. Felten, 27, of 4526 Vista Drive, Island Lake, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, two counts of possession of cannabis and improper alne usage June 27 at Deerpath Drive and Route 45. His court date is July 11 in Mundelein.Β

Matthew M. Norton, 28, of 300 Inwood Dr., Wheeling, was charged with driving under the influence, driving with a blood-alcohol content above the legal limit and improper lane usage June 28 on the 1100 block of Milwaukee Avenue. His court date is July 24 in Waukegan.
Robert D. Sumeriski, 43, of 417 Algona Dr., Elgin, was charged with driving under the influence, driving with a blood-alcohol level above the legal limit, reckless driving, no insurance, disobeying a stop sign, no driverβs license on person, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, improper lane usage, and hit and run June 29 at Evergreen Drive and Haddon Circle. His court date is July 17 in Waukegan.

Alfonso A. Rangel, 46, of 5631 S. Sacramento Ave., Chicago, was charged with driving under the influence and improper lane usage June 30 at Route 45 and Stone Fence Road. His court date is July 17 in Waukegan.
George G. Smolucha, 21, of 27 Portshire Dr., Lincolnshire, was charged with driving under the influence, improper lane usage, failure to signal and driving with a blood-alcohol content above the legal limit June 30 on the 200 block of Stone Fence Road. His court date is July 17 in Waukegan.
THEFT
Two 17-year-old girls were charged with retail theft June 24 at JC Penney after they left the store without paying for $356 worth of clothing and jewelry. Their court dates are Aug. 8 in Mundelein.
Guadalupe Diaz, 20, of 707 Lake St., Antioch, was charged with retail theft June 27 at Sears after she left the store without paying for a $28 wallet. Her court date is Aug. 8 in Mundelein.
Alejandro E. Cuevas, 19, of 1155 N. Green Bay Road, Waukegan, was charged with retail theft June 30 at Sears after leaving the store without paying for $171.18 in clothing. His court date is Aug. 8 in Mundelein.
