Chang I. Lee, 45, of 851 Fair Lane, Northbrook, was charged with driving under the influence, improper lane usage and driving without a license April 7 at Milwaukee Avenue and Executive Way. His court date is April 24 in Waukegan.Β

Jesse G. Escobar, 21, of 3001 Green Bay Road, North Chicago, was charged with possession of cannabis March 28 at Hawthorn mall, after he admitted to owning a water pipe that was left inside a book bag outside of Carsonβs. His court date is May 9 in Mundelein.
Police charged two men with possession of cannabis on April 3 while officers investigated a suspicious vehicle on the 0-100 block of Cedar Court. Charged were Victor J. Melo, 18, of 1010 Thomas Blvd., Mundelein, and Miguel A. Vazquez, 19, of 262 N. Ridgemoor Ave., Mundelein. Vazquez was also charged with driving under the influence and possession of drug paraphernalia. Their court dates were not available.
Jakub Jaskowski, 19, of 385 Jefferson Court, Vernon Hills, was charged with possession of cannabis on April 4 at Echo Court and Indianwood Drive. His court date is May 9 in Mundelein.Β
Gustavo Sida, 18, of 40 Monterey Drive, Vernon Hills, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia April 5 on the 700 block of Lakeview Parkway after police found him in possession of a pipe used to smoke cannabis. His court date is May 9 in Mundelein.
Maureen E. Barry, 23, of 3601 Overlook Drive, Richmond, was charged with possession of cannabis April 5 on the 300 block of Bloomfield Court. Her court date is May 9 in Mundelein.Β
A 17-year-old boy was charged with possession of cannabis, possession of drug paraphernalia, improper lane usage and driving with one headlight April 6 at Townline Road and Aspen Drive. The teen admitted to possessing cannabis and a pipe used for smoking it, police said. His court date is May 9 in Mundelein.
PUBLIC INDECENCY
Maria Gonzalez, 33, of 126 Brookwood Court, Vernon Hills, and Manuel G. Mejia, 26, of 40 S. Shaddle Lane, Mundelein, were charged with public indecency April 7 on the 100 block of Brookwood Court after police said they were engaged in sex while parked on a neighborβs driveway. Mejia, who tried to drive away when police told him to exit the vehicle, was also charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. His court date is May 1 in Waukegan, while Gonzalezβs is May 9 in Mundelein.Β
THEFT
Two girls, ages 15 and 16, were charged with retail theft April 6 after police said they left Sears without paying for $164.22 in clothing and cosmetics. Their court dates are May 9 in Mundelein.
Layanim O. Kapambala, 52, of 33715 N. Royal Oak Lane, Grayslake, was charged with theft April 7 at Sears after police said he left the store without paying for $84.53 in cologne. His court date is May 9 in Mundelein.
