Police Blotter: Underage Drinking, Property Damage at Toy Store

ALCOHOL

Four teens were charged with consumption of alcohol by a minor May 2 in Augusta Park. They were Sean A. Kolber, 18, of 101 Adair Court, Vernon Hills, along with a 17-year-old boy and two 16-year-old boys.Β  Their court dates were unavailable.

ASSAULT

Tracy Anderson, 50, 14 Montgomery Lane, Vernon Hills, was charged with assault May 3 at her home after she threw an object at a police officer. Her court date was unavailable.Β 

DRUGS

Jordan C. Watkins, 19, of 23468 N. Apple Hill Lane, Lincolnshire, was charged with possession of cannabis May 5 at a business on the 100 block of Butterfield Road while police investigated a report of a suspicious person. His court date is June 13 in Mundelein.

POSSESSION OF TOBACCO

A 17-year-old girl was charged with possession of tobacco by a minor April 29 at Vernon Hills High SchoolΒ after she was found with tobacco products in her vehicle in the school parking lot. Her court date is June 13 in Mundelein.

PROPERTY DAMAGE

Steven G. Lemmermann, 31, of 11403 274th Ave., Trevor, Wis., and Brandy L. Kerin, 29, of 1108 Washington Ave., Wauconda, were charged with criminal damage to property May 2 at Toys R Us after police said they damaged playing cards while attempting to commit a theft in the store. Kerin was also charged with obstructing identification and arrested on a Lake County warrant for failure to appear in court on an unlawful possession of a controlled substance charge. Their court dates are May 30 in Waukegan.

THEFT

Karen M. Artis-Marks, 49, of 1903 Dawn Lane, Zion, was charged with retail theft May 2 at Kohl’s after police said she left the store without paying for $112 in clothing. Her court date is June 3 in Waukegan.
