Vernon Hills Summer Celebration This Weekend

Enjoy vintage cars and other motor vehicles at the much anticipated car show for their rain date this Saturday Aug. 27 at Century Park in Vernon Hills.

This Saturday morning (August 27) is the long awaited make-up date for the rained out car show that was originally scheduled to take place during the Summer Celebration. It will be from 9:00 am - 2:00 pm in the parking lot at the NW corner of Lakeview Parkway and Hawthorn Parkway (south of the Summer Celebration site). As originally planned, the proceeds will benefit the family of the late Officer Andy Rheintgen. C-mon out and see some sharp cars. Hopefully the weather will cooperate this time.
