• Grundy County announces the recipients of the 2025 Grundy County Friend of 4-H Awards (shawlocal.com) — A Verona resident is in the spotlight as Mark Mitchell’s 4-H Clover Supporters organization, co-founded with Mike Lowery of Mazon, is honored with a 2025 Grundy County Friend of 4-H Award. Alongside fellow recipient Kathy Wise of Morris, the group was recognized for raising over $40,000 this year to support local 4-H livestock, general projects, and family events that benefit youth across Grundy County.
