• Over 38,000 Pounds Of Food Donated By Westmont Neighbors (patch.com) — Westmont neighbors recently pulled together an enormous community food drive, donating more than 38,000 pounds of groceries to West Suburban Community Pantry to help local families facing food insecurity. Led by resident Katie Free and her volunteers, the effort collected about 7,000 filled bags plus extra boxes and totes, which pantry leaders say will help feed thousands of area neighbors.
