Missing Man, 76, May Need Medical Attention: Police
Socorro Ruiz was last seen Saturday in Little Village. Police said he is often seen pushing a shopping cart to collect scrap metal.

CHICAGO — A missing 76-year-old man may be in need of medical attention, police said.
Socorro Ruiz was last seen on Saturday in the Little Village neighborhood near the 2400 block of South Hamlin Avenue. According to officials, Ruiz may be confused and in need of medical attention.
Ruiz is 5-feet-2-inches and weighs around 90 pounds, police said. He is hispanic with brown eyes and grey hair. He was last seen wearing a baseball cap with the word "Mexico" written on it, a black beanie and a navy blue sweater with matching pants.

According to a press release, Ruiz is often near 31st Street and Sawyer Avenue pushing a shopping cart he uses to collect scrap metal.
