Woman Doused In Face With Gasoline: Cops

The incident happened late Wednesday morning in the East Garfield Park neighborhood.

CHICAGO, IL — A woman's face was doused with gasoline late Wednesday morning on the West Side, according to the Chicago Tribune. The victim was examined at the scene and refused to be taken to the hospital, the report added.

The incident happened before noon in the 300 block of South Hamlin Avenue in the East Garfield Park neighborhood, the report stated. The victim could not describe the man who attacked her, but detectives are investigating it as an aggravated battery incident, the incident.
