Bethel New Life Church in Wheaton will host a special celebration for National Day of Racial Healing. Guest speaker for the event will be the Rev. Dr. Craig Howard, Executive Presbyter for the Chicago Presbytery. Other guests will include Milas Armour, a well-known soloist in the Chicago area, and Achkei Wilson, a mime artist. This year the theme is: “The Rhythm of Our Humanity,” focusing on shared stories, joy, courage, and connection to move toward healing and build a more just world, emphasizing that joy is a practice that unites us.”
