Driver Crashes Car After Passenger Punches Him in Face

Teen Crashes Vehicle After Fight With Passenger

A woman called police at 10:52 p.m. Wednesday, March 26, to report that a man came to her backdoor asking for help, his face covered in blood. When officers arrived, they found the man sitting in her driveway, according to police. He told police that a passenger in his car hit him the face several times, causing him to crash his vehicle into a Wilmette Park District bus. The suspected offender and another passenger then ran away, according to police.

The suspected offender, a juvenile resident of Wilmette, was transported to the hospital for treatment of an injury to his hand, according to police. The man who sustained the injuries told police he had not yet decided whether to sign a complaint.

Man Strikes Co-Worker After Argument at Bar

A man said a co-worker struck him in the face and the head at H.A. Morrison Arborist, 3632 Lake Ave., at 8:40 a.m. Thursday, March 21, according to police. The altercation stemmed from an argument the two had the night before in a bar, police said.

Thief Steals Wallet At Corner Bakery

Someone stole a woman’s wallet while she was eating at Corner Bakery at 3232 Lake Ave. in Wilmette between 1:30 and 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 20, according to police. She realized her wallet was stolen after someone made several unauthorized charges to her credit cards.

Identity Thieves Shop Online

A woman reported that someone used her credit card information to make several unauthorized purchases online at Wal-Mart around 9 a.m. Monday, March 25, police said.

A woman told police someone used her credit card information to make unauthorized online purchases at 12 p.m. Tuesday, March 19, according to police.

Stolen Temporary License Plate

Someone stole an Indiana temporary license plate from a car while it was parked in the 1000 block of Skokie Boulevard between 8:40 a.m. and 5:03 p.m. Thursday, March 27, according to police.
