Fourth of July Celebrations in Wilmette

Independence Day Fun

• When: July 3, 2012, 4 p.m.
• Where: Gillson Park, Sheridan Road and Michigan Avenue
• Why Go?: Enjoy games and rides for children. Entertainment, roving performers and a Tastefest are all part of this Fourth of July celebration.
• Pricing: Free

Independence Day Fireworks

• When: July 3, 2012, 9:30 p.m.
• Where: Gillson Park, Sheridan Road and Michigan Avenue
• Why Go?: The Grand Fireworks display are expected to light up the sky at 9:30 p.m. In case of rain, the fireworks will be rescheduled.
• Pricing: Free

July 4th Fun Run and Walk 

• When: July 4, 2012, 7 a.m.
• Where: Gillson Park, Sheridan Road and Michigan Avenue
• Why Go?: The day of the race registration opens 7 a.m. The race starts at 8 a.m. and participants will make their way through Gillson Park and the streets of Wilmette. Youth Races beginat 9:15 a.m. and run at 10 minute intervals. You can register online for the race until noon Monday, July 2, visit: www.WilmettePark.org
