New Trier Alum Founded Art Nonprofit to Help Chicagoland Students

Winnetka resident Sally Schneiders started Do Your P'Art Foundation in 1999 to serve students from grades two through high school.

 

New Trier High School alumni Sally Schneiders started Do Your P’Art Foundation in 1999 to bring students from various backgrounds so they can work on projects and find common ground and solutions together, Wilmette Life reported. 

Past projects include “This Land Is Your Land, This Land is My Land”, which allowed students to identify with each other through projects dedicated to their mutual love of the land, according to the nonprofit’s website.

Schneiders says she loves seeing people making connections through projects and now close to 15 years later the Winnetka-based nonprofit has partnered with various schools in Wilmette, Kenilworth, Winnetka, Skokie, Northbrook, Chicago, Palatine, Oak Park and Arlington Heights, Wilmette Life reported.
