Police: Three Cases of Identity Theft Reported in Wilmette

Identity Theft
A resident on the 2200 block of Chestnut Ave. reported unauthorized charges to his credit card in Chicago between May 30 and May 31, police reports state. 

Identity Theft
A resident on the 600 block of Hibbard Rd. reported unauthorized online charges to her credit card between March 6 and May 31, police reports state. 

Identity Theft
A resident on the 800 block of Leyden Ln. reported unauthorized debits to her bank account on May 2, police reports state. 

Criminal Damage
A resident on the 1600 block of Central Ave. reported that someone damaged his garage service door between May 30 and May 31, police reports state. No evidence of illegal entry was observed. 

Theft
A resident on the 1700 block of Highland Ave. reported that their bike was stolen from their yard on May 30, police reports state. 

Retail Theft
A man in a car registered out of Broadview, IL removed numerous bottles of baby formula and fled the scene from Walgreens at 3232 Lake Ave., police reports state. The incident occurred on May 31. 

Driving Without a Valid License
Reyna Atempa, 53, of Chicago is being charged with driving without a valid license, police reports state. She was stopped for traffic offenses on May 31 on the 500 block of Greenbay Rd.

Stolen Bike Recovered
Patrick Levy, 58, of Evanston is being charged with theft after a bicycle reported stolen in Evanston in 2012 was found during a street stop with detectives, police reports state. Levy was stopped on the 100 block of Green Bay Ave. on May 31.
