Three-Car Accident at Wilmette Avenue and Skokie Boulevard

Three cars were involved in an accident at the intersection of Wilmette Avenue and Skokie Boulevard around 4 p.m. Monday.

“The witness indicated that somebody had ran a red light,” said Police Chief Brian King.

Two cars were towed from the scene and one person was transported to a local hospital for none-life threatening injuries, according to King.

As of 5 p.m. traffic is open again at the intersection.
