Cole has worked in the golf industry for 20 years. Prior to joining the WGC he spent 14 years as the Senior Program Director for First Tee Chicago, an international youth golf and life skills development program. In addition, Cole is the coach for the Whitney Young High School boys golf team. “My passion is to create new golfers… I’ve spent 17 years growing the game through programs for kids, women, adults and families,” he explains.
With his drive of sharing the sport and encouraging interest in all manner of patrons, Cole is looking forward to working closely with WGC visitors, and assisting men’s & women’s leagues to help them improve their operation. In addition, 2022 is the 100th anniversary of the golf course and the Club staff will all play an important role in the festivities planned throughout the season. “I’m excited to be a part of the celebration and create lasting memories for our members and guests,” he says.
