• Prosecutors: Illinois couple disposed of newborn in toilet, later buried body in beer box (eastidahonews.com) — Will County detectives say an infant’s remains were discovered buried in a beer box on a Roberts Road property in Wilmington, leading to desecration-of-a-corpse charges against a couple from Manhattan, Illinois. Investigators allege the baby was first delivered into a toilet, then later moved and buried in Wilmington, with further testing and possible additional charges still pending.
