15 Year Old Arrested for Driving without License
A 19 year old was also arrested for driving more than 35 MPH over the speed limit.

The following information is from the Winnetka Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.
Driving without a valid license
Fermin Torres-Galvez, 36, of the 6500 block of Claremont Ave. in Chicago, was arrested at 1 p.m. Aug. 4 in the 500 block of Elm St. for driving without a valid license. He was also cited for operating an uninsured motor vehicle and disobeying a stop sign. He has an Aug. 18 court date.

Speeding more than 35 MPH over the limit
William H. Stubblefield, 19, of the 1100 block of Asbury Ave. in Evanston was arrested at 11 p.m. Aug. 5 at Pine Street and Sheridan Road for speeding more than 35 MPH over the limit. He has a Sept. 19 court date.

Pink paint vandalism
An officer discovered at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 6 that someone used pink paint to deface the slide and Braille stand at a park in the 500 block of Maple St. Repair is estimated at $200.
Bridges defaced
Someone used orange and blue spray paint to deface the walls underneath the Oak and Elm street bridges sometime between noon Aug. 4 and 8:15 a.m. Aug. 6. Repain is estimated at $500.
15-year-old arrested for driving without license
A 15-year-old boy was arrested at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 7 in the 100 block of Bertling Lane for driving without a valid license. He was also cited for disobeying a stop sign. He has a Sept. 4 court date.
Driving with a suspended license
Ricardo M. Montes, 29, of the 500 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Ave. in Waukegan, was arrested at 10:30 a.m. Aug. 8 in the 700 block of Sheridan Rd. for driving with a suspended license. He was also cited for operating an uninsured motor vehicle and speeding. He has a Sept. 19 court date.
Underpass defaced
Someone used red spray paint to write graffiti on the south wall of the Willow Road pedestrian underpass. Repair is estimated at $250.
More graffiti
Someone used black spray paint to write graffiti on an electrical box and pavement in the 1000 block of Sheridan Road around 9:30 p.m. Aug. 10. Repair is estimated at $100.
