Art Made By Sunset Ridge School District 29 Displayed At Village Hall
Northfield village officials are marking Youth Art Month with a display of visual art by local students.

NORTHFIELD, IL — Art created by Sunset Ridge School District 29 students will be on display at Northfield Village Hall through April.
Young artists at Middlefork and Sunset Ridge schools have created a variety of pieces that will be featured in the exhibit, village staff announced.

March is Youth Art Month, which is administered by the Council for Arts Education, a Massachusetts-based nonprofit.

The program emphasizes the value of providing art education to all children and encourages support for quality art classes in school, according to village staff.
Youth Art Month also offers a place to showcase skills honed through working in visual art that cannot be developed in other school subjects.

Local students' art will be on display and available for public viewing at Village Hall, 361 N. Happ Road, during weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
