Art In The Village Showcases More Than 65 Artists

The North Shore Art League, this year celebrating its 100th anniversary, hosts the annual event at Hubbard Woods Park.

WINNETKA, IL — The North Shore Art League is set to host the 11th annual Art in the Village Event next month at Hubbard Woods Park.

The two-day Art in the Village juried art exhibition promises to bring more than 65 artists from across the country to showcase work including oil paintings, mixed media, sculpture, photography and more.

Attendees at the weekend event can take part in a silent auction for artwork donated by participating artists, as well as a raffle with prizes donated by local businesses.

And portrait artist Lisa DePinto, an art league faculty member, will be offering quick oil portraits on site on both days.

The art league, a nonprofit supported by donations, offers a range of classes, workshops and events, with much of its programming taking place at the Winnetka Community House.

The 11th annual Art in the Village Event takes place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on June 22 and June 23.
