• House of Valor in Joliet is hosting a community outreach meal on Nov. 22 to anyone in need from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 2225 W. Jefferson St.
• The Midwest Veterans Closet is hosting a Turkey Giveaway on Nov. 21 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. while supplies last at 1720 North Green Bay Road in North Chicago.
