WINNETKA-GLENCOE, IL — Cities and villages across the country continue to bring back many of the traditional Independence Day activities that were either canceled or modified the last two years. With July 4 less than two weeks away, it's time to find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on near you in 2022.

Here's what's in store on Sunday, July 3, and Monday, July 4, in both communities, which offer the opportunity for back-to-back nights of fireworks on the North Shore.

What: Winnetka Independence Day Parade
When: 10 a.m. on July 4
Where: Starting at the corner of Elm Street and Glendale Avenue and ending at Village Green, 525 Maple St., Winnetka.

What: Events on Winnetka Village Green
When: 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. (resident and pre-order pricing are available for wristbands.)

What: Glencoe Independence Day Parade
When: 1 p.m. on July 4
