- Why Go?: Go back in time to music’s fun years--when rock and roll was clean and the Chicago River was dirty! Clark Weber was a very familiar voice in the 1950s, 60s, and 70s as a program director and disc jockey for WLS radio in Chicago. Enjoy some of his stories about the music you loved and the people who made it at this entertaining program on the heyday of Top 40 radio.

- Why Go?: Stop by the library for an evening book discussion. Just bring a light dinner and your thoughts on a book and we'll provide the drinks and dessert! For children in grades 2-3; parent or caregiver is invited but not required.

- Where: , 811 Elm St, Winnetka
- Why Go?: In this fast-paced workshop, we’ll use prompts and exercises designed by contemporary writers to plunge into writing, generating rough drafts of poems and prose-works. Workshop leader Robert McDonald is a widely published award-winning poet. Limit 12 kids. Recommended for ages 12-15.
