  • Why Go?: No one pays attention quite like a dog. Read to Bailey, who will listen to your every word. Registration required; please call the Northfield Library (847-446-5990) to reserve a 15 minute session.  Age 6+.

  • When: Tuesday, August 28, 2012, 5:00 pm
  • Where: 620 Lincoln Ave, Winnetka
  • Why Go?: On our current events night, the WYO encourages Middle School and High School students to come have an open discussion, with their peers, about ongoing events in the world. This is an opportunity for teens to discuss and develop their own belief systems, as well as an opportunity for them to gain a better understanding of the world around them.

  • When: Wednesday, August 29, 2012, 10:30 am
  • Where: 320 Park Ave, Glencoe
  • Why Go?: Start the new school year with a bang! Children are invited to the library for a special program with stories, craft, and a small treat to celebrate entering kindergarten. The program will be offered at 10 :30 a.m. and at 2:30 p.m.; please choose one. Registration is required; call the Children's Department at 847.835.5056.

  • When: Wednesday, August 29, 2012, All day
  • Where: 620 Lincoln Ave, Winnetka
  • Why Go?: On our Junior High nights, the YO opens its doors to sixth, seventh, and eighth graders, to hang out and to meet new friends. Free snacks and drinks will be provided!
