Glencoe Shoe Store: Fairy Godmother to Women’s Inner Cinderella

For more than 30 years, Sherrie Oppenheim, owner of Shirise, a Glencoe shoe and accessory boutique, has been help women on the North Shore find the perfect shoe whether it’s for a night out or a day trip with the family, Glencoe News reported. 

Shirise customers told Glencoe News that Oppenheim, a Northbrook resident, is phenomenal at remembering customer shoe sizes, preferences and suggestions on current fashion trends. 

Opened in 1985, the store, located at 341 Park Ave., carries high end shoes and boots from brands such as Jimmy Choo, Chole, Uggs, Stella McCartney and Tory Burch to name a few, according to its website.
