Glencoe Traffic Alert: Scott Avenue Bridge To Close Wednesday
The Scott Avenue Bridge will close to vehicle traffic for road repairs for much of the day, according Glencoe village officials.
GLENCOE, IL — If you travel the Scott Avenue Bridge regular, you may want to find an alternate route in a few days.
On Wednesday, Oct. 27, the Scott Avenue Bridge will close to vehicle traffic for road repairs. The road closure was originally scheduled to take place Thursday, however it was bumped up a day due to the weather forecast, which calls for an 80 percent chance of rain.
The closure will begin at 6 a.m. and remain through the day until late afternoon.

Access to retail stores and parking will not be affected.
Drivers are asked to use Harbor Street or Tower Road as an alternate route.
