Job Openings: Glencoe Seeking Public Works Workers

The seasonal job pays up to $15 per hour.

GLENCOE, IL — The Village of Glencoe is looking for new temporary employees with the Public Works Department. The job starts around Oct. 1 and runs into the spring.

Hirees will work on forestry and grounds keeping as well as assisting street and sidewalk, sewer and water system maintenance crews.

The seasonal positions run from Oct. 1 to April 30, but those dates are flexible, the Village says. The gig pays between $13.50 and $15 per hour, depending on qualifications.
