Juveniles Caught Defacing Garage Wall

A resident discovered that sometime earlier this year someone used his social security number to open a Comcast account. Loss is $198.84.
Park district signs damaged

Someone damaged two park district signs in the 500 block of Maple Street around 11 p.m. July 30. Damage is estimated at $200.
Stop signs damaged
Two stop signs were damaged at Cedar and Oak streets, totaling $340 in damages.
Parking garage damage
Two juveniles defaced the parking garage walls in the 500 block of Lincoln Avenue with latex paint at 10 p.m. Aug. 1. The juveniles were turned over to their parents and repair costs are unknown.
Driving without a valid license
Brett H. Gourley, 47, of the 600 block of Kenilworth in Grayslake, was arrested just before midnight Aug. 2 in the 500 block of Locust Street for not having a valid license. He was also cited for driving while using a handheld cell phone. He has a Sept. 4 court date.
Person rummaging through car
A resident reported that someone was rummaging through his unlocked car at 5:30 a.m. July 30 in the 1000 block of Cherry Street. Nothing was reported missing.
