New Trier Referendum to Be on Nov. Ballot

Voters will indeed cast a ballot in November on the plan to raise $89 million toward a $100 million renovation project at New Trier’s Winnetka campus, according to an article in Winnetka Talk.

School board members have pledged to keep the project under $100 million, with $11 million coming from reserve funds to cover costs over $89 million, the article says.

Voters shot down a $174 million referendum in 2010.
