'No Truth' To 'Real Housewives Of Winnetka' Rumor, Says TV Exec
Claims that the reality television franchise is coming to the North Shore are false, a representative of Bravo's parent company told Patch.
WINNETKA, IL — Claims that an upcoming version of the Bravo "Real Housewives" reality television franchise will be set in Winnetka are false, according to a representative of the channel's parent company.
"There is no truth to that rumor," said Jennifer Geisser, executive vice president for communications and talent relations at NBCUniversal, the parent company of Bravo.
Posts on social media accounts and anonymous media gossip websites this week suggested that a "Real Housewives of Winnetka" season was on the horizon.

Some of the unverified claims came from people claiming to have been featured on the show or saying they knew someone who had. An apparent promotional image widely shared on social media featured a drone image of recently sold Winnetka real estate.
The refuted posts asserted that the NBCUniversal-owned streaming service Peacock would also air "Real Housewives" franchises set in Nashville, Tennessee, and Scottsdale, Arizona.
