Ronald McDonald House Gets New Family Room
Families have a new place to rest when their children are critically ill.

Families whose youngest members are sick now have a new place to relax during hospital stays.
The Ronald McDonald House Charities is opening a renovated family room Wednesday.

The room is located just outside the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at the University of Chicago Medicine Comer Children’s Hospital. The room is approximately 2,265 square feet, and has eight sleep rooms with private bathrooms.
There is also a hospitality lounge, coffee station, dining tables, laundry facilities, television and multiple seating areas, according to a press release.

This is the third family room provided by Ronald McDonald House Charities of Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana in the area.
The hospital is located at 5721 S. Maryland Avenue in Chicago.
