Thieves Targeting Winnetka Street Signs
Several thousand dollars worth of signs have been stolen. Police are asking for the public's help in reporting any suspicious activity.

The following is from the Winnetka Police Department:
Since April 1st, 2014 dozens of street name signs worth several thousand dollars have
been stolen from Winnetka intersections. Most of these missing signs are from the
southeast area of Winnetka. Several signs have been repeatedly targeted after being
replaced by Village of Winnetka public works crews.
While these crimes are currently under investigation, the Police Department is asking
Community members to pay special attention to street name signs posted at intersections
during the overnight hours and to immediately report any suspicious activity to the
Winnetka Police by dialing 911.
