Village Of Winnetka: Spring Tree Planting Request Deadline Is March 25

Each year, the Village plants about 200 trees in parkway areas. The Village Forester is currently taking requests from residents who would like a tree planted in front of their home this spring: trees up to 2 ½” trunk diameter size are planted within the Village-owned parkway at no cost to residents. For a listing and description of all tree species available, please call the Village Forester at 847-716-3289. The deadline for spring tree requests is March 25.
