Winnetka Council to Host Additional Budget Meetings
The village council will be holding meetings on Wednesdays in February to discuss the 2013-2014 village budget.
Want to share your thoughts on Winnetka’s budget? The Village Council is hosting additional meetings at 7 p.m. on February 6, 13 and 20 to hear Winnetka residents’ feedback.
A budget hearing will be held on March 5 with the anticipation that the 2013 budget will be adopted on March 19, according to the village website.
A second round of budget activities will be required in August, as the village is transitioning to a calendar fiscal year, which becomes effective Jan. 1, 2014.
