Winnetka Ex-Marine Responds to SEC Scam Allegations.
Clayton Cohn responded on his Twitter account to allegations that he scammed veterans and current military members out of nearly $2 million.

Clayton Cohn, a Winnetka resident and former Marine who the SEC is claiming allegedly participated in hedge fund fraud that targeted current and former military service members, stealing over $2 million from them, released a statement Thursday evening concerning the allegations.Â
On his public Twitter feed linked to his Facebook page, Cohn called the SEC allegations "incredible".Â
"This is a very trying time for me and my family,"Â he wrote. "As you probably know the United States Securities and Exchange Commission filed a complaint against me this week. The complaint makes many incredible allegations. With my attorneys I had been cooperating with the SEC prior to the filing of the complaint to try to find a reasonable resolution to the difficult situation. I still hope to find a reasonable solution."
He adds that, at the advice of his lawyers, he won't be commenting any further on the allegations.Â
