2 Thefts Reported at Brand-New ARC, DUI, Retail Theft: Woodridge Police Blotter

Take a look at what Woodridge police officers have been up to for the past week.

The following items were taken from the Woodridge police blotter throughout the past week. Arrestees are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

Theft

  • Jan. 27, a Woodridge resident reported a stolen purse, which contained an iPhone, cash and credit cards. The theft took place sometime between 7:40 p.m. and 9:15 p.m. at the ARC on Janes Avenue, according to police reports. The purse had been left unattended.
  • Another ARC theft was reported Feb. 1, when someone said that their unattended wallet had been taken. It was about 6 p.m. at the time.
  • An unknown suspect pumped $60.87 worth of gasoline into their car at Thornton’s Gas Station around 7 p.m. Jan. 29 and drove away without paying.

Retail theft

  • Kimberly Kremer, 52, of Bolingbrook was arrested just before 4 p.m. Jan. 28 when she tried to steal several items from Goodwill at 8615 Woodward Avenue.

DUI

  • Stephanie Murray, 26, was stopped by police on Route 52 last week for a traffic stop. The officer who stopped her found that she was driving drunk and arrested her for a DUI. She was arrested around 2 a.m. that day.
